Welcome to Crude Oil Futures, a reliable platform for all things related to crude oil trading. As a freelancer in the field, free from the shackles of vested interests, I am dedicated to providing you with the best of analysis based on existing data in the oil markets that really matters with an emphasis on integrity, honesty and absence of bias.

 

Metaphorically speaking, Crude Oil Futures sprang from the ashes of the Great Oil Crash in 2020 like the legendary phoenix, when the crude oil price went negative on April 20, 2020 - first time ever. No analyst predicted it; no existing chart at that time pointed towards such a disaster. It prompted me to look at data as it is and make my individual judgements without going with the flow.

 

Almost all analysts got the Great Oil Crash wrong, because they assumed that they had identified all the factors that determined the oil price - by then. It was a monumental mistake, indeed.

 

They got it spectacularly wrong, because there are still a few latent factors at work, some of which are not quantifiable - mathematically or statistically; it does not mean they do not exist. In short, no model is perfect when it comes to the forecasts of the futures – or anything that affect all of us right now, for that matter, of course.

 

This is where a freelancer with true passion can enter the realm in order to play a unique role while making a difference. I do not hide the fact that my own intuition is a constant guardian that stands firmly in the shadow of this experiment.

 

While making my contribution to a fast-growing global audience in the field of mathematics, statistics and computer programming as a Google-certified mobile web specialist - and Microsoft Certified Software Developer - I have skills, both academically and technically, to create this platform for you in a professional manner.

 

I may not be able give an absolutely accurate prediction about future oil price; however, I will take sentiment on board in proportion to the exact way it should be in this endeavour.

Strong economic data from China boosts oil prices!

China's Manufacturing PMI - March With China's manufacturing sector returning to the expansion territory in March, recording the highest manufacturing PMI since September, 2023, the economic outlook of the world's second largest economy depicts a positive picture - at last. The announcement on Sunday by China's National Statistics Bureau on the PMI, was further boosted by the fact that the country's logistic industry showed even better improvement in March; the data released on Tuesday shows that the logistics industry prosperity index rose by 4.4 points to 51.5.
